This weekend was quite a relaxing one. I took my favourite photo of Ez and Jon together (top right is my absolute fave), to me, at least, it highlights just how darn alike they are. The older Ezra gets the more the resemblance grows, it’s lovely to see (but I can’t help but wish at least one of the kiddos looked like me!).

Annie gave Ezra his first taste of ice lolly, and he was not impressed…

Sunday morning was the party, Annie had a blast, except when the Playfarm mascot came out (a guy in a cow suit) which made her, and the birthday boy, cry. Though Annie calmed down really quickly she refused to eat her ice-cream, a sure sign she was still a wee bit traumatised.

We spent most of Sunday afternoon in the garden, making the most of the (rare) lovely weather. Annie bounced on the trampoline, then made me join her. Afterwards I tried teaching her hopscotch but neglected to check if she could actually hop, she couldn’t so the exercise was kind of pointless!
