I’ve decided to play along with Sunny+Scout’s Point & Shoot and share our weekend in photos…

This past weekend we spent stuck indoors thanks to the typically awful British Bank Holiday weather. I meant to watch some of the jubilee celebrations but the days flew by before I realised and I never got around to it, luckily it’s all over the radio so I’ve heard about what happened even if I didn’t see any of it.

Annie spent her time pretending to be a ballerina, a pirate or a ballerina pirate. Ez has recently discovered balloons and spent his Saturday bashing himself in the face with one, he’s also quite adept at dropping them, trying to shove them in his mouth and cuddling them, it’s very cute to watch.

On Sunday I made a small sensory tub for Annie, I wasn’t sure if she’d like it but it was a massive success and she spent hours spreading beans over the kitchen playing with it. She kept telling me she was tired but I assumed she was just whinging as she’s never normally tired in the morning, I obviously got that all wrong because she disappeared and when I went to look I found her zonked out on the sofa – oops!

Ezra spent more time in his walker and practicing his ‘pensive’ look. He loves being able to move himself around and it turns out that he enjoys watching the washing machine and the rain outside, bless him!
