Project 366 – January

I decided at the end of last year that I needed to take on a new photography project so I decided to do project 366, where you take photo every day for a year. To make it even more tricky exciting, I decided to do two parallel projects, one with Annie as the subject and one with Ez. I did a similar project for the first 365 days of Annie’s life and felt a bit bad that Ezra wasn’t getting the same treatment, trust me to pick a leap year though!

I am very happy, and slightly surprised, to declare that I made it through the first month successfully with no cheating and only a couple of days where my heart just wasn’t really in it.

I’m looking forward to having a whole year’s worth of photos, it’s fantastic to watch how a kiddo changes and grows over a year. My aim is to use the photos to make a coffee table book for each of them so they can see what they got up to in 2012.

  1. I love how you captured Annie…I love the playdough shot {I think that’s playdough}. And Ezra has so many different faces. :) I also love your coffee table book idea. Let me know who you’re gonna use to print it, I also want to print my year photos but I’m just not sure who to use. And, I love the calendar look…I have so much to learn from you! :)

Cheers Toni, I’ll probably use my professional printers to make the books, but every photographer I know in the States recommends MPix as the best printers around, they do the most amazing dry-clean calendars too, something no-one has thought to market over here yet.

I love photography and spend every nap-time the kiddos gift me with, on the Mac playing around in Lightroom or Photoshop, I think I’m as addicted to photography as Annie is to Peppa Pig ;-)
