Before Ez was born I used to collect all the little videos off our phones and make a monthly family movie. Since Ez arrived though I’ve only done 2 and all those clips and memories were just sitting on my phone not doing anything.

This week Annie has started watching the old family films. Both kiddos love them and they leave me feeling so happy that I decided I had to get back to making them again.

I love the process of making the movies, going through all the clips and choosing the best bits, picking the music and shuffling them all to fit. I know why I stopped, the time I used to dedicate to the movies is now taken up with Project Life, blogging and photo editing but I’ve decided to find time to get back on track with the family films.

So without further ado here is how we spent our January…

Two things strike me after making this film,

1) It’s quite Ez heavy.

2) How much time do my kiddos spend walking in circles and spinning around?! Oddballs!

We enjoyed a great week of snow and cold weather which Annie thought was amazing. The bit at the end with Annie climbing through the awesome green tube and slide is a source of much Mummy pride. Annie is quite neo-phobic and when we walked past it in the morning had said she’d love to go through but decided against it. Just before we were about to go home she decided that she was brave enough. She was so happy with herself and how brave she’d been that she went through again and if the car park hadn’t been up I think she’d have spent the afternoon in there!

Now to start going through the year or so of old footage and making more movies…
