Susan Succulent
10.10.13I have no idea why, but the past few months I have really wanted to buy myself a succulent. I am no good with plants, I have never had one last longer than 2 months because I either over water / under water / put it in the wrong spot / let it get eaten by pets, pests or children etc. I’m so poor with living things that I am constantly amazed that the kids have survived as long as they have!
I think I like the idea of a succulent because they are apparently hard to kill. Also I think they look kind of content with their chubby leaves and lovely bright colour, also they just make me smile.
I finally decided to bite the bullet at the weekend and splashed out a whole 99p on one. I don’t know what type of succulent she is, what I need to do to look after her or what kind of position she would thrive in. Instead I’ve bunged her in a cute little espresso mug, called her Susan and will rely on Google as we go (much like with the kiddos!).

Are you green thumbed or black thumbed like me? Also do you know what the heck Susan is exactly and do you have any advice?!

I have no advice other than get a plastic one! I am also hopeless with plants, which is odd as I come from a long line of green fingered peeps!!

I’m just unlucky with plants, my excuse is I’m woking hard keeping two kiddos fed and watered, plants fall further down my list of priorities!!
